Once the rain stopped (i.e. once I pulled into our property), I started taking pictures of the lightning. They're not fabo, but they look not a little neat to me.
I need to sing more hymns.
The unquenchable, demonic wrath of the summer sun. The realization, and acceptance, that you can easily die before you make it to your car. Some misguided fools seem to enjoy the risk of being brutally melted into a coma from the sun's savagely cruel rays. The only relief from this ferocious, truculent force comes during winter. For everyone in Arizona, it's a sad, sad fact. Winter, depressingly, ends far too soon.
