Today I got water (1 load TW 3 for us 330 left). It was uneventful, as Seven of Nine would say. You know, that Borg-human from Star Trek: Voyager. The series has just started replaying on Spike TV (well, "almost just"). A few weeks ago, it was showing 3-4 GGW commercials per show, and several condom commercials (ROFL, the one where all the guys are pigs, then become civilized once they have condoms! Yeah, right, laughing boy).
Now they're not showing either, except one or less of the latter. Hm. Still a lot of lame car commercials, and some "hottest bartender" commercials. Anyway, I'd much rather sit through an hour of commercials than 5 minutes of the Jim Bakker show. That guy looks almost as emotionally imbalanced as John McCain and seems almost as dull. See how I avoided calling him names, but pointed out valid character faults?
Seven of Nine finally has her normal suit. Before, she was walking around in a somewhat-shiny silver one, and, I swear, her breasts had to be at least the size of a human skull (maybe even a Klingon skull!). Each one. Now they seem much more normal. I first noticed it when B'Elanna was leaning over a console, and Seven was standing next to her.
I thought, "whoa, half of her total mammae must be at least the size of B'Elanna's head! And she's a filthy, dirty, yet lovable, half-Klingon! No, that's...can't be right...they don't bounce at all! And as we know, bouncing is a normative activity indicative of healthy breasts! Maybe she has very severe mastitis, which I recently learned humans can develop." But I digress. Aside from digressing, I just heard the word "supersperm" on TV. A show called "Village of the Damned." It's about mind-controlling kids which use their eyes, stuff like that. It's boring.
My Mom and Dad will be getting married here shortly. They were divorced, no one cares, blather blather, etc. I will be operating the video camera. We will need to purchase a Mini-DV, or possibly one of those fancy new hard drive containing gizmos. I need to catch back up with the camcorder market. We may even want to just rent one. It would probably be the best option- we don't have all that much to camcord. Get it?! LOL
My Mom recently bought the wedding dress. She was going to make one, but I told her, "Mom, I'd rather pay $250 for half of your dress than to see you waste your life making one that isn't going to look good. That pattern looks like CRAP!" After several weeks of delivering speeches like this twice-daily on work days and thrice-daily on home days, she caved. "Fine!" she screamed through tears. "I'll just go BUY the damned dress! OOH, I HATE YOU KEV!" she ran to her room. She'll thank me someday. Everyone will. Someday. Some...glorious day. The dress ended up costing $20. Don't ask.
Funny thing about today...it was cloudy, but there was VERY little rain. Our pastor mentioned a few weeks ago that they got what was called the "two-inch rain." One drop of rain every 2 inches. It was cloudy all around, and we probably had four waves of clouds go around us, one wave every 2 hours or so. It is technically too early to say that it did not storm, but... I took a lot of pictures, and I will delete them all if it does not storm. A distant city on a hill got pwnt by all four waves. Curse their bowels!
Also next week we have an arranged, I suppose it would be called a Bible study, with our pastor. We're special! "Now, Kev's Mom," he began a few days ago. "We really need to have a sit-down, open up the Book, and discuss this inappropriate behavior." With that, he looked over at me disgustedly, probably making sure I am OK with him treating my Mom that way. I mouthed to him, "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten." His whole body shuddered and he looked down, gritting his teeth and clenching his fists. I musta spoke some power to him! Whoo! Church is going GREAT! I am totally looking forward to the meeting! We're gonna have lunch, but I don't know. A restaurant seems too noisy for a talk like that. I vote Subway, someone goes and gets the subs, then we all eat. I wonder if his family will stay or not? Hmm. I will bake a batch of those muffins, too.
Dan:
"OH MY GOSH!"
Ness:
"WHAT!"
Ness has sprawled herself out in improvised attack position, eyes wide and wild, daggers drawn. Dan speaks, then runs off:
Dan:
"It's Princess Paprika! EEE!"
Ness:
"Who?!"
Jayme (intones):
"The lovable, red-headed princess-spokeswoman for AllEmpec Foods. You know, the one who wears the red contacts."
Ness:
"Oh. Right. With the scary looking, talking clouds?"
Jayme:
"Uh-huh. She tells stories to small children."
Ness:
"I gathered that by the crowd of small children gathered around her. And Dan."
Jayme:
"...yeah, Dan has no shame..."
Ness nods soberly, sheathing her knives.

When it Ships, it Pours 2
Today the rest of the Left Behind: The Kids books arrived: #7 Busted!, #8 Death Strike, #9 The Search, #10 On the Run, #14 Judgment Day, #16 Fire from Heaven. The rest that I ordered, that is.
Arriving as well is the Silver Bullet DVD. I know what I'm watching today!
Also, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent for Wii arrived. I forgot to post about the Splinter Cell game. I ordered it July 8th, and it cost $18.97 plus shipping. Supposedly, it's terrible, the controls are lackluster, the gameplay is dismal. Frankly, I don't believe what I hear about this game. Maybe I am wrong, maybe I am right.
Anyways, since they all arrived today, it required a "When it Ships, it Pours" post. Below is a picture of them, and I'll most likely be playing Splinter Cell once I finish with Ocarina of Time.

In other shipping news, today my Mom had me order some stuff. I got her two books, as well as ordered one gallon each of refined and unrefined coconut oil, 4 oz of curry powder, 4 oz of gunpowder tea and 4 oz of twig tea, and the tea nets for brewing the tea. The curry powder and tea was my idea! Joy!
I addition, I ordered some Wasabi peas...yeah...Asian snack food at its finest, I guess. We'll see. Their shipping is very expensive- $30 for overnight shipping! Oh...darn it, I guess I'll just order UPS 3 day. Fiddlesticks
...by the way, I did resist the urge to put my name as Kevinskysan Stewartskysan. I'll tell you what I ordered once it gets here.

See Kev Purchase More Items
Left Behind: The Kids titles:
#3 Through the Flames
#4 Facing the Future
#5 Nicolae High
#6 The Underground
#7 Busted!
#8 Death Strike
#9 The Search
#10 On the Run
#14 Judgment Day
#16 Fire from Heaven
All cost $.75 each, ordered from two people.
Totaling $22.10 in shipping, and $7.50 on the books themselves. Weird, huh?
I also ordered Silver Bullet, a werewolf movie. I was disappointed by Bad Moon- it's good on a first watch, but there's nowhere near enough action, and nowhere near enough people are shown being stalked. It does not remind me of the hunt.
Silver Bullet was $5.33, a DVD, and shipping was $2.99. Bringing my grand total up to $37.92. I haven't been paid for a month (somehow, I had myself convinced I would earn some form of interest). In the next wave of books I buy (probably a few weeks to a month) I will purchase Metroid Prime: Hunters. Gotta play that before September 17th.
Additionally, a few days ago, my Mom saw a camera on sale at CostCo. She emailed me. Due to a printer fiasco (?), I did not check my email for (until today). I then read it and emailed her back (after ensuring the camera was still on sale).
As you may know, I love taking pictures. I try to always carry a camera with me. But the camera I carry is cheap. Not as cheap as one of those cameras shaped as SpongeBob, but cheap.
I'm not complaining. It has served me well. Welcome the "Pictures" tag, for everything picture I've taken. Including video game pictures, like the Turok pictures I have taken. Remember that snake I took a picture of? It did not come out very good- it'll do, but wow, what a missed opportunity. And that time I took a picture of that rescue helicopter? Did not come out very good. Oh, man, that thing was 300 yards from me. MOVING SLOWLY. What a chance I missed!
I cannot relate how many times I've wished I had a camera with me. So I resolved to never go anywhere for extended periods without a camera. Even if I'm going to be outside for an hour, what if I run into a scorpion, or the road runner I have always wanted to take a picture of?
Even closeup shots come out blurry with my current camera. Like this picture I took of our goats. That's actually one of the clearer ones it takes. They were not all running or anything...anyway, she ordered the camera. I think we can expect it tomorrow by a miracle, or Monday. We each payed half of the cost.
I haven't been posting a lot lately- I'll explain that in a while. Yesterday, for Independence Day, I made a Flag Cake. My Mom covered that story. She forgot to mention that this is our new "celebration" cake. It is like cheesecake with a 1" thick crust! It's delicious. I used half strawberries, half raspberries.
I am planning to make one one day for our church. It cuts into bars easily, with 2 raspberries/strawberries, and 2 mounds of cream cheese frosting (which tastes like good cheesecake). Goody.
The Team has just received their clothes for their assignment. They are clothes (pants, sweaters) with body armor built in. Jayme gives Ness her outfit. It is on a hanger.
Ness:
"I'm not wearing that."
Jayme:
(sighs) "Why not?"
Ness:
"It looks uncomfortable."
Jayme:
"Ness, if everything in the world was uncomfortable, what would you do?"
Ness:
(puffs out bottom lip) "...nothing?"
Jayme:
"Nothing is uncomfortable, too."
Ness:
"...that would just be dreadful, wouldn't it?"
Jayme drops the hanger hook between Ness' chest and walks away; Ness freaks out and falls with it (not from the weight of it)

Hey Kev, If There Are Two Cow Heads...
"...then wouldn't there also be two cow bodies?"
Excellent question. In fact, the answer is yes. There are two dead cow bodies in the freezers.
Yes, plural. We have two stand-up freezers. To hold all the beef. Find pictures on my Mom's blog, I don't have much time for this post- I have to watch X-Files in 13 minutes!
The meat is tough, and tastes...whats the word...bland. It doesn't even taste like beef! It tastes more like...like...like round steak cooked until it's overdone. Apparently, the Sirloin Steaks are the only ones which are any good. They are alright, but even chicken, the apple of the meat world, tastes fantastic compared.
The hamburger has bone in it (about one piece every 5 pounds, which is still terrible), as well as liberal amounts of gristle- about 5 pieces every pound. Terrible. The last meat had NO BONES, and gristle about 1 piece every 5-6 pounds.
I am out of my depressive slump. Which is good. However, apparently, we're out of vegetables. There's three pounds of Spinach, which is about 5 ounces drained (Sorry I had to ^^), and that's enough for Spinach and Noodle Casserole. But I don't want to make that.
Today we will have rotting broccoli (at least, they will, I will be having sauteed eggplant, made with love), which is rotting- and bitter. Also, we will have butterfried chicken- did I mention the broccoli is going to be bitter? I am going to start making a load of vegetables if these fools like it or not- bitter ones, if need be.
Just...a bad day to start. Or...rather...a bitter day to start. See, instead of doing it the natural way, and making zucchini and eggplant, my Mom felt the demonic urge to STEAM the zucchini. So now we have steamed, bitter zucchini in the fridge.
Did I mention the broccoli is gonna be bitter?
1:58. X-Files time. Hehehe.

ION--- PO, Dinner, 3 packages, Firefox 2.
Okay, so this week, I lost a day. On Wednesday, I thought it was Tuesday. So I got water yesterday.
That's good though, because my Dad's Probation Officer came by the Quixotic USay on Wednesday. Three of them. They go together to save gas; they didn't come in to the house.
Also, he should be able to get his license in two weeks' time. Driver's license. Then he can drive. He's gonna be so happy! I can't wait to see if he fails his test. Then my Mom can blog whilst going to work, lol. It's strange; a son advising his Dad on his driving test.
Tonight, we're having Butterfried Chicken and Spinach and Noodle Casserole. I am having a Reuben Sandwich, because we don't have enough chicken. I still have Russian Dressing left, and I had frozen White Sauce, so the Spinach and Noodle Casserole will practically throw itself together!
Also, three more packages came today. Goldeneye, The World Is Not Enough (TWINE), and Turok: Dinosaur Hunter! Let me unwrap Dinosaur Hunter...oh boy. It came from a smoker. There was no advisory. So, I think they get a minus rating. There is a sticker on it, and they didn't even try to cross out the price tag. It says $8.00.
So, I thought Blogger had spellcheck during typing, such as in Word. But...it turns out, it is Firefox 2. A new version. I downloaded it today, and it's neat. We will see if it's faster...but, apparently it does spellcheck as you type. I love it. In fact, I loooooooouuuve it.

Braveheart update
I am not writing the review yet. Why? It is past midnight! However, I am untired, so I will post some tidbits.
The movie was great. Inspirational, even. I like it. My favorite movie? Definitely, although quite honestly that is not saying much. I am not a movie fan- movies constantly betray me, as in X-Men 3, or the Matrix sequel and threquel (OMG I MADE THAT UP INSTANTLY LOL)
Video games do not betray me in the same way; really, they don't betray me much at all.
I used my recorder to take notes. I am falling in love with the thing. It's so...useful.
Kev:
Every line is a separate entry, all made over a 30 minute span, I think. Soo helpful in reviewing things- I definitely need rechargable AAA's, though, as one pair lasts for about 5 hours of pausing; good rechargable, more like 7 I think. I like how it sounds, all these entries stringed together- "They were in 17th century Scotland" next entry: "(or whenever this is)"
I noticed something strange about the Princess of Wales, Isabelle (I think). Something caught my eye about her. Then I realized, she looks just like Elektra King (TWINE, not Jennifer Garner). In the credits, a name popped up. Sophie Marceau. Sure enough, it WAS Elektra.
Now I just need to go see if Eragon's real name is "William Thatcher" and we'll be all set.

I am now taking notes for the movie Braveheart.
And the pause feature apparently works.
Very graphic...hanging dead bodies.
The subtitles on my DVD lagged.
Quote, "I know you can fight, but it's our wits that make us men."
He's about to go diee.
The death flower of death.
So far his Dad's died, and his uncle Argyle, uh, took him in. Apparently his Dad died the same way.
His ranch really looks like a crapshoot.

ION--- Water, 2 Packages, Metroid, Metroid
So while getting water today, I discovered that two of the things which I ordered came. I fondled the ...I'll use the word, "manilla envelopes" here...and could tell they were a DVD and a GBA game. I guessed on the GBA game; they come in an old-school box (I learned this upon seeing it) like all good old-school cartridges.Cardboard box though! So, I opened up the first package. A DVD- in fact, Braveheart. I will watch that tonight, I think. I think it's like 5 hours long though...oh well.
The game, was none other than Metroid: Zero Mission! Oh boy! I opened it up with loving, adoring, caring, loving hands, much as I assume God handled Adam when he knocked him out, and opened him up, and "borrowed" his rib. Adam got a wife out of it. Me? I got a game. A Metroid game. Much better than a wife. Of course, Metroid games didn't exist way back, so I guess a wife was comparatively great back then.
This will be the first Metroid game I've ever played which was developed by Nintendo. Metroid Prime (the entire trilogy, excluding Hunters) was developed by Retro Studios, which has done a fabulous job. You can just tell they're fans. Like, when Acclaim brought Turok to the next gen (Turok: Evolution)? Totally not fans. Even though they, you know, made the last gen of Turok games. Quite literally.
I do want to play the Metroid game, and I really want to get my hands on that DS again (I haven't played it for a bit, and I crave the freedom), but that's special. I can't just... decide to play a Metroid game. There's ceremonies. There's accolades, awards to be handed out on both sides of the fence. Appointments to be made- both pertaining to rank, and to high-level meetings...there's the fact that my parents will be home for what seems like forever.
And also, I enjoy making memories. Such as having Pizza a few times when playing Twilight Princess- next year, I'll have pizza again (and play the mouth-watering, Zelda-filled first-party Nintendo game) just for the sheer nostalgia of it. We get it from a local restaurant, and from a local Bashas. They are good in different ways.
...also, I am planning to finish Turok 2 this weekend. ROFL, yeah right. I am hoping to get level 3 and 5 monsters photographed over the weekend though...and maybe a Raptoid from level 1 if it's convenient.
On the water front, today I got 3 loads of water for us, and my Dad installed the wheel on the gate (5 days ago) making it really really alot easier (shh). I will remove it next winter. Oh, boy.
I got one load of 500 for the Thirsty Wolf, and then another of 250. I got paid, $20. I will let you know how Braveheart turns out, if I watch it. I have trouble grasping how fast Metroid: Zero Mission arrived. I wonder if I'll like 2D Metroid games. God, please let me like 2D Metroid games.
I was gonna make that the last paragraph, but I really wanna say one more thing!
That was gonna be the last one too. But, I'll finally be able to tell people, "yeah, Metroid Prime totally caught the atmosphere of the 2D games more than Echoes. Totally. Rad. Tayo." Those will be the days!!!

Outrage!
Okay, so it was a good night. Much as a full moon glistens on the surface of an unmoving lake while crickets chirp in the breeze.
I had Arby's for dinner. I have a thing for Arby's. I had Arby's when I first got the Wii, and I also repaired the porch that day. Well, a 4'x4' section. I had to go straighten up my room juuust a tad since I wanted the Wii to have a good welcome. I set it in the hallway (it and accessories/games were in a brown bag) and quoted Jesus Christ. I forget what I said exactly. I mean, I remember, but I forget the words. Exact words. You know what I mean.
I had three sparkling waters in the fridge. I don't drink sweetened soda, as it is...well...too sweet. So, I took one to my room.
How I would regret that.
Did I ever tell you I keep a notebook and book light and pen next to my bed so I can write down TA notes? Yes. I do. I have the notebook halfway filled, and it's useful in every aspect of the word. But...the soda spilled.
Normally, the four horsemen would trample through the room, the house would be swallowed up by not only flames of the everlasting inferno (with resentment), but also the ground, opening its killer maw to crush us like a fortune cookie.
An organic, multi-human fortune cookie. However, since this is sparkling water, and not sugar-laden sugar-death, it does not stain or slowly evaporate and concentrate into poison death. As a bonus, the four horsemen do not trample through the room and the house is not swallowed up by everlasting flames of fiery inferno, and also the ground does not open up its killer maw and attempt to crush us like a multi-human fortune cookie.
However. The soda (water) spilled on my TA notes.
As I have previously stated, if this were normal soda, the horsemen, and stuff. So I am grateful I like sparkling water.
I watched a movie, called The People Under the Stairs. It was great! I loved that dude, "daddy." What a psycho! The Answers.com "Plot" is wrong...it is either eyes, ears or tongue. Not all three. I saw, actually, no blind ones. And they could hear I think.
Then I went to write something down in my TA notes. I don't remember what it was. All I knew was, I felt around, and I felt something wet.
And cold.
To my horror, I discovered the spilt water. I sprung into action. I got like eight paper towels and put them between the pages, then sought a source of FLAT and HEAVY. I could not find FLAT and HEAVY in my room. I went to the living room. I thought the VHS tape shelf would qualify as FLAT and HEAVY. However, it did not.
I THEN FOUND THE FILING CABINET!
It was both FLAT (and how!) and HEAVY (not so much!). So I got four one-gallon cans to put on top of it. To make it heavier. I tipped it sidewayes(saywhat?) and put the notebook underneath it. I can now only hope. And dream heavy, and flat, dreams. I may iron the notebook. If I have to.
And now, just the icing on the cake...by the way, Mom, HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
The icing on the cake ... to my horror ... and... I was thinking of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. How it's a great game. You know, the usual. If it was only more personable, and soft, and warm, like Metroid, I would really love it (like, really). However, Turok is neither personable, soft, OR warm. Turok isn't too personable, and is not soft, and is not warm! Maybe warm in a BAD way, but not warm in that comforting, soft, and personable way.
Then I saw Perfect Dark laying on the floor.
I have mentioned Perfect Dark before. Yes. Joanna (I think that's how it's spelled!) Dark. She is the one who talks, but not too much. Game is based off of the Goldeneye game engine. Has a sequel on Xbox 360 (I think Xbox too) called Perfect Dark: Zero, made after Rare left Nintendo's employ for Microsoft. Rare is said to have pulled Nintendo out of a slump, and made some of -THE- best games on the system (N64, their hayday). Then they cooled down, and Nintendo did not want them I guess. It is said to be a "friendly" leaving. As in, Rare might work for Nintendo again. I am unsure of this. Do your own research on this.
Anyways, I saw some weird thing. Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is rated M. For Mature. For GRAPHIC VIOLENCE, BLOOD, AND GORE (not "quoted," that's just things I could apply). You can shoot holes in thing's chests, and see through them. There are these things called Fireborn, which reside in Lava, and are fire-dinosaurs. You shoot them and can blow them off of their legs, leaving their calves standing there. Shaking.
You can blow somethings head off. Or its arm. You can blow half of a torso off of something, then watch them stumble around, off-balance. You can blow the head off of a raptor then watch them stumble around like a chicken. And then, there's the Cerebral Bore.
M. For Mature.
So I saw this weird thing. It looked like, lol, like an M on Perfect Dark. LOL! Yeah, that's silly. As, Turok 2 has M on it. Not, M and 18+. Just M.
So I picked up the cartridge. Mmm. Plastic. Paper. I am glad that DS uses cartridges still...so anyways...IT DID SAY M!!!
Perfect Dark features shooting. Shooting. Turok 2 features fountains of blood, with limbs and bodies being blown apart. Granted, these are not humans. However, Perfect Dark only features...you know...blood spots on the wall and red-colored "dots" on the soldier's clothes. You get that?
Blood on clothes.
A bit of blood.
Ketchup.
Catsup.
Turok 2 features blood spouting out of (newly formed) open body cavities. Blood spurting out of open body cavities so exaggerated it is on par with the vibrating breasts in newer games which are supposed to be more "realistic." Last time I saw a woman wearing a bikini, her breasts were not rippling (also her bikini was not skintight enough that you could visibly see her breasts rippling under it).
I don't really have extensive experience in games like those, so I may be exaggerating. Just a...disclaimer there. I will do some research some day. But until I find out if I am or not, I am going to continue screaming "SAMUS IS BETTER THAN ALL OF THEM MADE INTO A POPCORN-BALL LIKE MASS OF FLESH!" with an eye-twitch.
...just so you know, if they put anything near those kinds of physics in any Metroid games, I am going to cry. The Super Smash Brothers' Brawl footage is bad enough, but that isn't "rippling." That is bouncing. Which is a normal, healthy activity for breasts.
So yeah. Somehow, someway, Perfect Dark got rated M. That game is E 10+ if anything! It's just shooting people! And not, like, people who suffer! These are NPCs who have no story, and the graphics are not advanced enough to show them bleeding really bad or anything! JUST BLOOD SPOTS!
...but whatever. It's just, what if someones parents went by the ESRB ratings? Man, why even have it there if it's so inaccurate?
See, Perfect Dark would get...Violence, and Fantasy Violence. "T" rating would be fair. Not "Graphic" violence. Splinter Cell? Certainly. Give that an M rating. OH NO WAIT, SPLINTER CELL GOT A "T" RATING!
THE WORLD HAS GONE TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET!!!!!!

In Other News-- Things Kev has been Doing and Thinking.
Hi! Third post this afternoon. Seeing's how this is my "off" night. Kinda. Man, my Mom's teapot I got her, for her Mother's Day/Birthday combi surprise, I used it today. Nifty thing. Doesn't whistle loud enough... but yeah, we also got her some tea. It's "Yogi Tea "Healing Formula", Green Tea, Kombucha, Made with Organic Green Tea." YEEGK. But it's delicious. So I will have some of that from time to time.
I watched part of a show yesterday on the Woman's channels. Lifetime, or LMN, or Oxygen, or one of those, about rape. Some lady got really drunk at a college party, then went to a bedroom with some guy, guy also very drunk, and got raped. Now, I don't know about you, but when I watch a movie about rape, I would prefer the rape to be...more...um...less of the lady getting too drunk to stand, y'know?
So, when I first got my DS Lite, my room was a bit messy. Oh boy. There goes Little Jihad (LJ, my Mom's killer pitbull, AKA TOATT), into the bathroom. He goes in there, then the door shuts behind him, and he's trapped for hours. Poor guy. I will go let him out, then let him outside. He has been wanting outside for the last hour.
So anyways, I didn't have anywhere to put my DS Lite. I mean, I could have put it in a traditional place, like on the dresser or something, but I instead set it on the Resident Evil DVD case on the floor. I noticed after a week or so I had been doing this, and it stuck.
The only problem is, I got rid of my Resident Evil DVDs. They're kind of...you know...a little... wicked, I think is the word? They're not so bad to watch on TV. Because, I don't know, you don't "decide" you want to watch a violent film with an wicked underline. So a few weeks ago, when I cleaned my room (I would link, but I dislike blog posts which have tons of links, effectively making the blog post AS LONG AS MARS), I threw out the Resident Evil 1, 2, and Bad Moon DVDs. I kept the Resident Evil DVD case, however. I have it in my dresser as my DS Lite's docking station.
Or, in other words, that's where I put my DS Lite when I sleep. I am thinking I want to be rid of the case too however, but I would need a replacement. I am considering my Metroid Prime 2: Echoes case (with game inside of course). That's Samus, AND it's a case! Two great things in ONE!
...and that also brings me to another thing I was pondering whilst getting water yesterday. If Samus without her suit (or Zero Suit Samus), is Samus naked, hold on, gotta go open the gate for my folks.
Okay, back now. My shirts have arrived. Second Day Air. I shop from some places which ship fast, apparently. But, if Samus without her suit...or, Zero Suit Samus, which is Samus wearing a flight suit... is Samus naked... and ...in MP2...Samus is shown in her flight suit...that means...I'VE SEEN SAMUS ARAN MEGA-PORN! OH MY GOSH!
GOD, CLEANSE MY FILTHY SOUL!!!
Ness and Dan watching The Matrix, sitting on couch, Ness on left, Dan on right.
Ness:
"...I wish I could dodge bullets like that."
Dan:
"Hah. You can't. You're too slow."
Ness:
(looks at Dan annoyedly)
Dan:
"What? It's true. We should call you, "the Ninja Turtle." Because you're so slow, you're like a turtle."
Ness:
(looks away from Dan, looking forward and to the left, narrowing eyes slightly)
Dan:
"Aheh. You know. Like, uh...you know, Ninja Turtles are pretty fast..."
Ness:
"...yeah so how much you wanna bet if you ran to that door I would beat you to it, and then give you a REALLY bad hair day?"
Dan:
"AHEH, well, uh, I...see..." (Dan jumps up, screams "NINJA TURTLE!" and runs for the door, Ness gives chase)

Oh, my Gosh, Kev is, like, watching Pokemon.
That's right. I figure I should at least watch the first episodes, if I'm planning on playing the game.
Oh man. "It's time for adventure- Diamond and pearl- (something something something) we can change the world!". Theme song already sucks. Backgrounds are nice.
I never understood why they got rid of Misty. I wasn't following Pokemon at that time, but oh well, maybe she got shot in a gang fight. The new Misty is apparently called Dawn. From Twinleaf town, how original. First pokemon they show is uhh...the fire starter, Chimchar I think. Aha. Piplup. Ewww, Pokeballs have such small...buttons now.
Turtwig looks like a freak. Hmm, the style is strange. ROFLDOLF, wow, what kind of 10-year-old wears lacy nightgowns? With uh, like a built in bra? 10-year-olds? Clearly defined bra section?
Oh wow, now she's riding her bike. Her skirt is about 2 inches long. lmao, this show is awesome for its lamity. Now she's narrating her movements. Wow, this guy is AWESOME. He looks weird. The new Professor Oak, I assume. Oh no, please God, no. This show is winning me over!
...wow, some aides got OWNED. Now Dawn got owned by the Piplup. Now Dawn is owning the Piplip. OH MY GOSH ITS SPIDERMON! Wow, they can fly or something
Man, Bubble Beam is powerful. Leaves smoking piles of dust. Piplup used...bide? Oop, he just died. Oh well.
There's Starapter. Evolved form of Starly. See, I'm getting it now. That there looks like Mew? Celebi? What was it. Hehehehee! She just got her "Pokedex," which is an upgraded DS Lite! Owned!
There's Ash. Sounding like a fag. Oh man. Team Rocket is still around. Ash sounds like a PERV. James sounds like a freak. Jesse looks like hell. Ash's cap is cool though ...Jesse's voice is alright. Waboffet hilariously said "Waboffet."
Ouch, the lamity is starting to hurt. Oh boy, that expression is teh win. Lamity isn't hurting so much now. Rofl, the dumbass waited too long to throw the pokeball. It's a Pikachu! Piplup got owned. So did Short Skirt's Bike. Hah. Short Skirt. So THAT is a Mime Jr. How ...teh lose.
They need to stab the freak who draws this, or use a better whip. James looks horrible. This IS a great way to memorize the Pokemans though. Jesse and James have waaaay too many pokemon...
There's a Nurse Joy. Shouldn't she be dead by now? Yes, she should be dead by now. Ash has a really skinny neck. There's a Cop Jenny. Shouldn't she be dead by now? Yes, she should be dead by now.
So, this dude is friends with Dr. Oak, yet he doesn't have ANY idea who Team Rocket is. Aren't they horrible? Don't they steal things? Shouldn't they be a, like, a concern?
Oh well. I don't know yet if I'll be a fan of the anime. Probably for a bit, then I'll snap out of it. Definitely. Hope so. Good day. Hopefully, I can hammer out an agreement with my parents to get Diamond or Pearl on Sunday. I'm hoping they go northward, for the whole, "Oh, you guys might as well pick up a pizza and a slice of chocolate cake!" thing. It will be a new tradition! Yes!

Kev the Destroyer: Kitchen
Well it's been 2 long weeks since the Kitchen laid its mess at Kev's feet
And it burned inside its cupboards the way it suffered that defeat
In the darkest of its bowels the Kitchen hatched an evil plan
To tempt Destroyer's brother for he's just a mortal man
"His brothers hunger," the Kitchen cried is what will do Kev in
"I thought we had this settled, why're you dirty again?"
Welcome the 'Things I Like' tag!
Man. There's this Asian chick on GOD TV (this channel seems like it pwns!), and she's PSYCHO. I mean, like, just her style of preaching is psycho, but not in a bad way. She seems pretty sharp, unless she uses the same routine every time...
I like her pants. They're awesome. Kinda like, I think cargo pants, but they're not as loose as cargo pants. Halfway between cargo pants and jeans, with jeanlike pockets (5 pockets instead of 50), and an elastic band at the bottom of the pant leg, and they go 1/3rd down her calves.
A few hours later, I continue writing, and now Joyce Meyers is on. Eww.
Me and my Mom had a fight (not so much a fight, but an 'argument'). She says I'm turning into a jerk, I used to be a nice person, etc. etc. Blah blah blah on and on!
...me and my parents have an arrangement, any time I have to cook dinner while they're gone, I make $20 (seeing's how dinner takes some hours, then usually the rest I am 'watching' Matt). So today I made $20, and made some more money earlier this week. I haven't yet decided what to spend it on. I already donated $40.00 to Les Feldick, and I am considering getting a BB gun (Blowgun isn't that accurate up to 200 feet I guess?!), and I need a curtain. I should at LEAST pay for the materials (thanks for agreeing to make it Mom!). I want it big, and bordered and held up by Velcro- that way I can completely remove it when it rains.
Also, for some strange reason, I don't want an LCD TV anymore. Oh... wait... maybe it's because the use for a computer screen and for a video game screen is moot because I can't use either.
Now onto the subject of this post!
Today I realized the kitchen is a mess. Not good. It took me three hours to get to the point where I could begin washing dishes. It wasn't as bad as it was last kitchen post, but it was pretty bad. I got the sanitizer and off I went...I threw an entire garbage bag of pans out. And a crock pot. The only thing I could justify saving for a Goodwill was an electric (plug in) ice cream scoop.
I used two cups of sanitizer. Sprayed from a spray bottle. I love this stuff! It seems to loosen grime better than normal water. Joyce Meyers is off now. It's Battlecry. This channel seems to be geared towards radical, cool teenagers, of which I am one! This appeals to me, most definitely! LET'S GET READY FOR BATTLECRY!

So uh...yeah, I cleaned the kitchen. Then I made Salmon, baked with butter, and some rice and green beans. Then I made a sour-cream, horseradish-caper dip. It needed more capers. Like a fancy tartare sauce I tried unsuccessfully to invent...I will try it again, maybe with beef though. Yeah...I'll make it with beef!
So anyways, I am tired. I am going to read this thing about the human skull then go to sleep. I'm gonna study one body part at a time until I read about all the body parts, then I'm moving on to how they uhh...operate. And go into detail, from skull to eye/ear/nose/mouth. Pretty soon, I'll rule the world! People will come to me and be like, "Hey Kev, how many eyes does a skull have?" and I'll be like, "two dude." And they'll be like, "wooow, you're s'cool kev!"
No Song of the Day. Not listening to enough songs to have one...because I'm listening to KLove, and I rarely post SOTD's for songs I don't own. I try not to at least...
ION --- Water, Reuben Sandwiches
I saw ... in a magazine... THE LOGITECH MX518! My target mouse once I buy a mouse. That's the kinda mouse you could warm up to. Not one of those ... dude mice. I saw it looking in a TigerDirect catalog. While getting water. I am a multitasker apparently.
I used a mouse the other day...I doodled something real fast in Paint. Let me see if I can find it...ah, here it is. See below. I know it sucks, it only took me like fifteen minutes though. I wasn't even gonna save it, but you know how these things go. You even have to save your failures so you can look back on them and chuckle charmingly.

So anyways, I didn't really use a mouse the other day. And I...I have to admit it, I didn't draw that in paint.
I used Photoshop.
Get it? You expect me to fess up, but then I claim I made it again! Hahaha, witty, so witty. (sighs dreamily at own brilliance)
Anyways, today I got water. We used like 350 gallons of water on Monday and Tuesday (above our average for sure). I DID get to meet the guy who runs the well though, so I'm grateful for having to get the extra water. He showed me the inner workings of the place, and revealed that it pumps 1 million gallons a month. That's ALOT of water! 33,000 gallons a day. Average tank size is probably 500 gallons, so there are 66 trips to the well each day. Lots of people have 250 gallon tanks though, probably more than the people who have 750 or 1,000 gallon tanks to balance them out. So ... yeah.
Inside, it's basically two shallow-well pumps inside a little shack (shack is made of brick, you pull up alongside it to get water). 4" PVC coming up from underground, reducing to 3", going into a magnetic flowmeter (measures how much water is pumped), then into the shallow-well pump, then up and into your tank! Awesome.
The computers in there cost $10,000 each. Crazy. It was a good temperature in there though, I surmise that it must get hot in there in the summer time. Thus they have to be heat-resistant like hell.
Oh boy, I remember ... I remember... my fondest memory of water getting.
I had SUCH a great time that day...
That any time I feel down when getting water (it takes 2.5-3.5 hours, and is boring), I just look back to that day...
I had SUCH a great time, that it's still overspilling (water-humor) into these days. Months later. Oh, heavenly bliss of rainfall and watergetting! How my heart yearns, my soul screeches, mud everywhere, a gentle breeze, a thirsty wolf, a Jew, everyone waving, a nail, LoZ: Twilight Princess...(sighs dreamily).
I now know that that day was God showing me what Heaven is like. It seems everyone waved. Everyone. Even that one really old lady who we all think is dead, and that her spirit is driving the car, but she isn't alive but is sitting in the car so you think she's still alive but you never really see her hands/arms move the steering wheel ... and her corpse is haunted. Also the car runs off of "spectre power," which is another indication we all go off of. We call her Aunt Dead Haunt. It rhymes, some kid made it up, we live with it. Also "Auntie Dead Hauntie."
Man that was the best water getting day ever.
It was raining, it was early in the morning, it was cold...man...when I think of that, I just forget time, and ...oh man, I need to go get a sparkling water. Whew. Okay. It was cold...so cold... raining ...oh man I can't do this. I'm sorry.
So uh, we had Reuben Sandwiches for dinner tonight. I make Russian Dressing (1 c. mayo, 1/4 c. ketchup, 1 T. hot horseradish (not sauce- grated, in the condiment aisle prolly), 1 t. grated onion which is important), then arrange Rye Bread, dressing, corned beef (I boiled it up today!)/other meats (any will do- uhh, use hot dogs cut in thirds if you like?!), cheese (preferably swiss), sauerkraut, more sauce (sauerkraut and sauce depend on personal taste), top with bread, wrap in aluminum foil and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes turning once, preferably on a sheet pan (which helps browning slightly). I suggest checking at 20 then putting in for additional 5-10 minutes if you so wish.
OKAY HOLD ON!
...
Alright. Okay...I had to go outside real quick. I had my blankiiiiet ...in the dryer, and it's a full-looking moon, so I wasn't too sure. It went behind the clouds so I sprinted like a Jaguar going to turn off its alarm clock before it disturbs the fluffy little bunny that happened upon its cave and is sleeping.
I got the blanket. I could just imagine the vile demon-beast springing behind a tree, transforming back into a man as the full moon disappeared behind the clouds, torn clothes hanging off every which way. Staring at me, en angered, starving...saliva still dripping, like a rabid ghoul on a playground in the middle of the night, hunting for any human flesh to infect...then ... I disappear into the house ... IT TRANSFORMS BACK INTO THE FLESH EATING DEMON BEAST IT WAS A MERE TWO MINUTES AGO! OH MY GOSH IT MUST BE TRYING TO SEE THROUGH MY WINDOW RIGHT NAAWWAAWOOOW!!!!!!!
Alright time to go. It is that one episode of X-Files. With the werewolf I think. I think it's just a shapeshifter. Ooh, it just flipped a cop car. This'll be good.
Song of the Day is Believe by the Newsboys on their Shine: The Hits album. Mwahaa,a...wait, I forgot about the werewolf OUTSIDE MY HOUSE AS I NOW TYPE, I was so excited about the werewolf on TV. Eh I'll worry about that when I'm trying to get to sleep.
Just...trying to get to sleep...all alone...darkness...

Resident Evil
Oh yes. When I order a DVD, I expect it to work. When it doesn't, well, I've usually planned to watch it, and if I can't, I have nothing to watch. Then I am alone with my thoughts, and I don't know if they are armed or not. You know what they say, "the thought you don't know if (is) armed is the one that drives you mad."
I was ready to watch Resident Evil. Then ... I put the disc in ...
A few minutes of trying to read the disc ... "bad disc"
They didn't even bother to put a period. Just "bad disc" like a slap in the face.
I don't personally mind getting counterfeit DVDs, as long as they work (and I have no knowledge they are counterfeit.) I'm a boy scout, not a ...miracle worker. Yeah. You know, like ... yeah. You know how we do.
I tried cleaning the disc. No good. Let me plug it in and try again.
OH MY GOSH! The DVD is working now! I see red lines, a thing, a TRAIN TRACK! IT'S THE HIVE! I AM TYPING WITHOUT LOOKING AT MY COMPUTER SCREEN I CANNOT TAKE MY EYES FROM TEH FLASHY HIVE THING!!!!!!! oh boy. Okay, it stopped being flashy, now it's on loop!
Imma gonna watch this real quick. Hold up.
(a few minutes later apparently?)
Alright, lots more on the DVD it seems. Like there's a 10 second thing right before the first zombie lady (scientist in the water) comes to life. A few more things too, I forget. Flowers. No flowers in this movie, are there?
...I like the style of Resident Evil. For example, there's a scene where some guys get cut up like hell by a laser grid. It cuts one lady's head off, which is kinda graphic...I mean, I guess I just find different things graphic. Someone having their head cut off leaving a steaming, exposed neck I don't consider graphic.
Someone ... uhh... I don't know. Let me think about it, I will report later. Also I digress.
The other people who die, one guy is cut in half. They don't show that. Then another guy is cut into ...probably 4" squares in a laser checkerboard pattern. When he falls apart (of course he has to magically suspend himself for a few seconds), the screen blurs out so you don't see the detail. I like that.
So, the positives and negatives list!
Weaknesses:
Actually, I'm certain there's more, but it's late. Fact is, Resident Evil is a film you're going to love or hate. I think I've seen it enough to be bored of it by now though...so...I guess this is it. What does that "I guess this is it." remind me of. I think ... I dunno.
Something ... oh yeah. That one chick that teaches you how to ground pound/spring jump/hammer spin thing in Paper Mario: TTYD. Is it just me, or do all those Mushroom Kingdom chicks look the same? I guess it's true what they say- don't shoot what you can baton, don't baton what you can pepper spray, don't pepper spray what you can walk away from. Unless you're a cop. Then don't shoot what you can ... OH MY GOD HE HAS A SCREWDRIVER SHOOT HIM! SHOOT HIM AGAIN!!!
I think I'm gonna learn to make screen savers some day. All it is is like, a series of pictures.
I would be famous. They'd call me "Screen Saver Kev, when you're screen saverless, he's there to 'saver' the day!" hehehe. I will post a TA update tomorrow. It IS tomorrow...sheesh...1:28 AM...here I thought it was 11:30. Oh well, 30 minutes until Star Trek is on. Cookin' in Brooklyn is on right now.
Reuben Sandwiches for dinner tomorrow. Poor (my brother)...he doesn't ever eat dinner. He is too picky. No vegetables, no side dishes unless it's a noodle, and then only if it doesn't have veggies in it. One day, it will click, he will realize THE VEGETABLES TASTE AWESOME, there is nothing wrong with eating them. Until that day he starves however. A hard lesson to learn...

- More zombies
- Video game-esque look and situation (Special Forces running out of ammo hehe)

Starchy K!
I have gone by many names. Kev, Kevin, Kevinsky, Cousin Kev (as like, a name, not to my cousins only), and Starchy K. They call me Starchy K because I tend to make lots of starches. For example, roast beef, potatoes, gravy and (vegetable). 95% chance that (vegetable) is a starch, and I have no idea what is or isn't a starch. So I just get the reactions: "Oh...Starchy K strikes again." (disappointedly)
Also, I am famous for my Pinto Bean, Potato, and Tortilla dinner. Pinto beans, potatoes, and tortillas are all starch. Hehhehe. I remember one of my fondest memories of what we call "stick to your ribs"(beans potatoes tortillas), is when I watched Resident Evil whilst eating. Another is when I was...what are those things... I was playing Turok: Evolution, and those psychotic ...I guess magic-doers attacked. You know, kinda like flesh eaters, but not, and like, warp around, and try to hit you with medieval weaponry? I remember when I shot one of them with the rocket launcher...that area reminded me of the half-pipe pool with all the stone frogs in Metroid Prime.
I think you get the Ice beam around that area. You know, it has a nice save portal. Mm-mmm. And I think there's an elevator through a morph-ball hole, too.
So anyways, I'm going to make myself some potatoes and some beans and some tortillas for dinner, and watch Resident Evil! Yeehaw! STARCH-PAVED MEMORY LANE, HERE I COME!
...FYI, the first time I ever cheated in a card game I was four and a half. I cheated too hard though. I won really fast too though, so that balances it out. Even though my Dad figured out I cheated. Sucker.

Well, on March 29th I was ranting and raving about The O'Reilly Factor and the repeatedly repeated and zoomed-in videos and photos.
Today on his show (my Dad watches it-- I certainly was not taping it) O'Reilly apologized for it and claimed it was a mistake- at least the whole 'repeating' part.
Now, I won't assert that O'Reilly is a liar (I don't hate O'Reilly, and I am a Republican, so I don't have a reason to hate)...but I will assert that his crew fully intended that all to happen. That does NOT happen on accident. If you saw it, you would wholly agree. These guys do this for a living, keeping the images on our screen there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And they're really, really good at it. So it was not a mistake. Maybe a misunderstanding, not a mistake.
I would be alot happier if he would have...like...if he at the VERY least meant it. Or had more viewer mail on it. All it seemed to me he said was "Hah hah hah oh well!" in passing. Like we're just SO ridiculous...not particularly good for the fans.
I'll forgive him though. How could you stay mad at a face like that?

Oh My Gosh! It's all true!
Yes, I thought that the possibility of two women (gulp)- kissing, was impossible!
I know, you probably thought the same thing I did- that it was physically impossible for two women to kiss. I mean, it's just impossible! It's like interlocking gears, or something- their teeth don't add up. Or...so I had heard.
Luckily, Bill O'Reilly, on 'The O'Reilly Factor' today (March 29th), featured lots of pictures and video clips of women kissing. It's all true, and now we know, thanks to Mr. O'Reilly! Now, I didn't think it was possible, but all of the extremely graphic pictures and video clips- repeated in slow motion, zoomed-in, and paused, of course- proved me wrong. So wrong indeed.
Not only that, but, in fact, some women (girls) expose their bodies on spring break- D00D! When did this stuff start happening?! I'm just so, so grateful, that someone, somebody in that raging sea of faces, all clamoring to be heard, got through with such a message in dire need of being heard!
I didn't think this kind of stuff happened- this is the stuff of fairy tales, and horror stories, and Cloud Fluff(tm) Penguin Slushies (a flavor at least if not also a cup design), reserved for high-definition CGI rendered Hollywood movies, and crappy screenplays written by bad actors.
Yes, if it wasn't for The O'Reilly Factor repeating very graphic clips of women making out, exposing their bodies, dancing like caged jackals (seriously, you would agree with that description), and guzzling booze, no one would have any idea any of this sort of thing ever happened! Yes, it would be REALLY difficult to think such a thing could ever happen, and even more so if they didn't show it to us zoomed-in and in slow motion.
Very skilled pausing and zooming in, O'Reilly's crew. Bravo! Truly inspired- groundbreaking. Bravo, encore, encore, bravo.
...I hope my brutal sarcasm made its point.
Please note, it isn't just this episode- out of the last five episodes I've seen, three have had content like this.
Maybe I'm just being a hater, but this isn't important to me. I mean, I guess I'm an anomaly, someone who knows things such as this happen when you get thousands of teenagers drunk in a confined space, and would...you know...not let my children get drunk with thousands of other teenagers in a confined space...
He SHOULD have put it up on his website or something. Or just told parents to search for "Spring break college" in Google. So now O'Reilly is on my list of shows to not watch. That's todays big news. That sucks too, he was alright.
Sheila Richards is on (hosting) KLove right now. She said, "Well, the thing right now is college basketball, but maybe you're thinking to yourself: "I...don't really care."" Such perfect emphasis on "I...don't really care." Fabulous, hehhehheh. My exact thought too! Hah! I think I will get by just fine with KLove and Jihad Watch.
Song of the Day is Here I Am by Michael W. Smith on his Healing Rain album. I think that the Metroid Prime title music just might be the greatest music to ever grace a videogame title screen... if I can't sit down properly by the time Metroid Prime 3 comes around, I am going to commit suicide.

Christian Movies (say what?)
Well, there's a grade of movie. Not sure what it is. B, or W, or C, or CC.
Somewhere a bit below Walker: Texas Rangers' lamity. Walker is a good show though, you wanna see a fool stroke his ego, go for The Shield. Vic always, ALWAYS is the one to say two words and get a hardened criminal to crack. Vic: "TELL US!" Hardened Criminal: "...alright man, here's the deal, I could get KILLED for telling you this, but..." I don't get that. Not at all. I have only watched a few shows, but it's too lame to continue. What kind of logic is that? "tell us?"
Walker, see, is classically lame. And that is me, baby. Classical. Classic. Classy. All great words for describing my timeless classicality.
So, there's this thing on TCT (Total Christian Television). It's called Christian Movies. Lots of advertisements for themselves, you know, bust in every ten minutes and talk for 40 seconds (not annoyingly), but they're really great movies. Simply because they're SOOOO lame! But they're great! It's so weird. Take End of the Harvest for example. INCREDIBLY lame! I would wanna watch it again though...sort of like some of the movies on Lifetime.
You know, without the learning fifteen different words for ah, well, you know...every set of commercials. Fifteen NEW different words...
Man, have you heard that song by David Crowder Band? "Forever and Ever Etc."? That song goes alongside The Orphan, God Help Me, and Keep the Candle Burning as classical songs of timeless beauty. I don't know if TobyMac has one of those. Don't think he does. Maybe uh, no not really. I think Newsboys have a few more, but I don't know. Those songs are classical AND timeless.
Timeless implies a lack of time.
So classical is a measurement of imagined time (as 'instant classic'), which depends on perspective of whoever's imagining the classicality of any one said matter...thusly, there is a certain...compromise, betwixt the saying, 'classical and timeless,' and, classical is a measurement of imagined time, which means I imagine classical on top of timeless, to wit, classical, AND, also at the same time, timeless.
So I went to the Christian Movies website. Heheheh. Lookie all them lame movies. I have my eyes on Unidentified. Here is a scene from their website. Hehehe. "Except for that smell..." I audibly guessed it before she said what it was. That made me laugh.
My parents are home. The party is over. RUN.

Pozole: a Dinner Post.
Apparently, Pozole is how you spell it. Pa-so-lay. It's pleasant!
You may know what it is; I didn't, so I will explain. It is hominy (I guess Pozole is spanish for hominy) and a meat (beef/pork/chicken usually), along with green chiles and some onions and garlic. You serve it with finely shredded lettuce, lime, sour cream, you know it's mexican food. Guacamole, radishes apparently...all optional. It's a sort of stew. The lime is important.
I was looking to make some food from my Mom's website, and I was going to make Crockpot Stuffed Bell Peppers. However, I had no white rice, and it doesn't work well with brown rice. So I decided to make Chili-Hominy Soup. Uhm, however. It looked bland. No meat in it...so then I saw Pozole a few entries under it. I have memories of the word. So I looked, it was basically the Chili-Hominy Soup, except it had chicken in it and no rice! Glory be! NO CORN EITHER! I HATE CORN!
Luckily, my Mom was stopping by the store (good lookin' out, . I had her pick up some Iceburg lettuce, Cilantro, a lime, two pounds chicken breast, corn tortillas and sparkling water. Or club soda, if you prefer. We love the stuff. Soda makes us sick. Sparkling water has juuuust enough sugar in it. [none]
Without her stopping, well, we'd have not enough chicken, no lime, no lettuce, and a corn tortilla shortage. The chicken was $4.00 a pound. Somehow, we got it for $2.00 a pound. Some sort of mini miracle, or, as my Daddy likes to say, 'Minicle'?
So I threw the stuff together. Another minicle, we had hominy on hand (exact amount I needed, too!), and we haven't used hominy for, man...at LEAST four years. I now realize how much I love hominy. I mean, it's fantastic! You know what it reminds me of, is how much I hate corn, because I love hominy just about as much as I hate corn. Hominy is so fabulous. SO unlike corn. That nasty crap!
It goes together so fast. I might keep some frozen, cubed chicken on hand along with diced onion and garlic, and if I ever need to make a good dinner, just throw it together.

Chicken Pozole
Combine onion and garlic in a 4 quart pan with a few tablespoons oil, or up to 1/2 cup coconut oil. Cook over med-high heat stirring constantly. When onion looks slightly transparent, add chicken.
In a separate bowl, pour one cup of water/stock, and add the flour and chili powder. Mix well. Add green chiles to the pan, and flour mixture. Mix well. Add hominy, two remaining cups of water and cook for another 15 minutes at a slow boil. Shred iceberg lettuce thinly. Heat corn tortillas in a pan or tortilla griddle.
Serve the pozole with lettuce on top. It's good with lime juice and sour cream mixed in...serve with various mexican garnishes. And apparently radishes.
I made the mistake of not salting it until I was almost done. I was thinking, "HMM, THIS TASTE BLAND!!! ...almost like it's lacking salt...nah. Hey wait, it IS lacking salt!"
I then mixed in sour cream and lime juice, too. It got lots better. TONS better. It's a nice hearty stew type thing, and did I mention how much I love hominy? It's definitely up with Stir-fry now. Stir-fry is a dish I make like, once every two weeks. Not since my Dad has been in jail though...
Now let's discuss impalement. Alice in Resident Evil 2 got 'impaled' by a uh, like a piece of metal. Man, that sounds so clever to me. "by a uh, like a piece of metal." It just makes me wannagiggle like a schoolgirl! laugh deeply, like a man!
However, whenever I think I impalement,I obviously think Alice in Resident Evil 2, as that's the first thing I thought I think that being stabbed isn't impalement. Falling into spikes is being impaled. Or onto. ONTO spikes is being impaled. Now, you could say 'into' if you were saying like, 'falling into a trap with spikes.' Even then, though, it should be 'falling into a trap onto spikes.'
For some reason, I'm suddenly thinking of Zelda...hm.
...okay then. If you get shot, are you impaled by the bullet? Uh yeah, by YOUR logic, wallycracker! Thusly, I come to the conclusion that not 'being rendered helpless' is HALF impalement. Himpaled. Like HALF stabbed. Hstabbed. I mean, it isn't even impalement really. It's just getting a free ride on popular understanding. *clinches fist, eye twitches*
By the way, when does a stabbing occur, you know, what boundary does a half-stab need to cross to become, technically, a stabbing? Is it measured on a stab-to-mass ratio? If it is, what is the math behind it? It depends also on length of blade, width of blade, thickness of blade, and damage caused by blade too, right? And what the blade is made of, as well as where...man, you must just eyeball it. Hey, I didn't mean cracker in that way. Don't cry man. Come on dude, cheer up. I didn't mean it that way...
Song of the Day is The Orphan, by the Newsboys. Why?...I mean, you know, I'm asking.
I am saddened and excited that I don't know the story of Moses (50% of what you've heard is a lie!). Saddened that I don't understand this song completely (Abrahams field?), excited that I now get to read it and be surprised.
I'm almost certain Abrahams Field was another name for 'Arcade.' You know, kind of like how 'Gentlemens Club' is another word f--(static, feed ends, black screen)

In Other News (a generic update post)
Today I watched Resident Evil. It was on fwe (5) hours before I expected, so I had to take a break from water-getting to watch it. I don't know why, because I ordered the DVD, but I suppose there's a reason for everything.
...man, either laptop keyboards are cramped, or I'm a fool. I think they may be cramped. I have a bad way of typing though. Actually, I CAN type the other way, but I don't know how. DAMN YOU WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER! DAMN YOU TO THE DAMNEDEST, MOST FIERY PITS OF EVERLASTING INFERNO IN THE BOTTOMLESS DEPTHS OF HELL!
Oh, boy, sorry. I uh... well. See, I'm updating windows media player and it's causing problems. I'm typing, you know. I mean, I don't have voice recognition software. Or a quality mic. And I don't even know how to use voice-recognition software. So I'm typing, and randomly, three to four times a minute, well, just hit Alt. That's basically what it does, so I have to re-click to type. Clicking on a laptop, just so you know, is kind of difficult. I mean, it doesn't 'click' right. It's somewhat unsatisfying. When I want to click something, it had better be clicked without having to use a touchpad. Tap tap. *shudder*
...anyways...I mean, I can hit any key with any finger from some sort of crazed memory thinger. I taught myself to type using my right pinky for SHIFT, thumb for space, and both index fingers for everything else. I used to hunt-and-peck...but then one day I realized I had been typing without looking for like a month. It cracked me up.
So I type with both index fingers, I guess it's alot of hand crampiness. What with the folding my hand to hit N. I have big hands, too. My hands are the size of most car tires.
So... now I have to go crawling to my Mom and ask her, nicely I might add, "Mommy, which finger do I hit I with? Which finger do I hit W with? Which finger do I hit the numbers with?" to which she'll, most likely, respond "Haha loser, you can't type! LOOOUSER! ahhahhaha lemme call my friend and tell her about this."
What would she say if she found out I can't use a Full sized keyboard's number pad?! I would be a laughing stock for years!
So uh, I suppose I can teach myself to type. I mean, use middle fingers more, then ring fingers...it should be logical by how comfortable it is to type. So far, P is middle finger. p. p. Pineapple. A is left ring finger...I'll have it figured out soon. I will tell you when I have it mastered.
---
Tomorrow I go to the doctor to have her tell me I need to go see the other doctor to have the prescription filled. Wish me luck. But you know what 'we' say, 'we' don't do luck.
Tomorrow will really decide alot. It decides what happens for the next three years of my life. Also, the odds of my becoming depressed and sleeping 20 hours a day when I'm allowed to in six weeks goes up by alot. At which point I will buy every movie I have ever watched that is worth watching. You know, like the B horror movies from Sci-Fi. Better than half of the blockbusters out there today. Okay, I'll be more realistic. Three-quarters of them.
If you'll excuse me, I have a date with some Sparkling water. I will post about tomorrow, tomorrow. Unless I, you know, die in a fiery car crash. Goodnight.

I can sum it up in three words: The Movie Sucked. TMS for short. It seemed like the people just kinda stumbled about...I missed the first half-hour, but the part I didn't see sucked anyways. The characters were pitiful, and a bit too mismatched for my taste.
So, this movie's weaknesses:
Movie's strengths:
ZOMBIES!
You'd think that the zombies would be enough to save it, but not really. The zombies here had glowing red eyes, and that's deffy a turnoff. I mean, when you're being chased down by lunging hordes of undead, you don't want to see them chasing you, you know, their eyes bobbing. You want to just trip over a rock and be overrun by teeth in peace.
It's like werewolves who have glowing eyes. That's alright though, more so than zombies. 'cause, more often than not, werewolves look like crap. I mean, imagine Bad Moon's werewolf with red eyes. That would ruin most things. Get it? Most things in the stead of everything?
Sadly, it totally* seems most directors say "What?!?! Give our werewolf human eyes?! YEAH RIGHT! D00D! THAT WOULD IMPROVE IT AND IT'D MAKE MORE SENSE! AND LOOK BETTER! You freak! Get out of my office!"
And once the poor fool who suggested 'no red eyes' is gone,
"That jerk...human-like eyes... (pause) (DIALING)...Hello? Vinny?...Yeah, I got a job for you- I need it done fast... Yeah... I need a triple anchovie with olives and sausage. OK. See you in an hour."
Anyways, I guess I could suggest watching it if you like zombies. Otherwise it's pointless in most senses of the word.
I give it a 2.0 out of 5.0, with a "rewatch" rating of 0.5 out of 5.0.

The good news? Well, I guess I never mentioned any good news... but Resident Evil is on tomorrow! You know what they say, it's "...every sixteen-year-old's dilusional, videogame -based, paranoid, sick, perverted fantasy. Who should die."
...anyways......there's just something about the movie. It's like...like...I don't know. I think I'm just a sucker for
Seriously. When I finally saw the full movie (I got real lucky), I had already seen the whole movie, in reverse order, twice, three times. I think I've seen every showing of Resident Evil that was on in the last four years...for some reason, they won't show Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Now that I find out Resident Evil: Extinction is coming out, well, I have no choice but to buy the RE and RE:A DVDs. It would be like a bird flying upside down, you know, it can do it, but it's not right.
I think I'm going to make a movie display case, and show off all the oddball movies I like. Apparently the movie is gorey. I don't know...I mean...I just didn't see that. Maybe it's like when you're in love. Or in extreme cases, looououououuuve. You don't see the persons faults, you know...that would make sense...
............
...
......Can uh, ...can you be in love with a movie?

P.S.: I caught a little bird outside on the porch being terrorized by the cats, and I'm currently holding him 'cause he's out of breath. The dogs pwn out-of-breath birds. It's sorta hot out there...I can feel his little heart beat.

So, this movie's weaknesses:
- The actors
- The characters themselves
- How the characters acted
- How the actors characted
- The whole 'not that scary' bit
- The 'too predictable' bit (I experienced no suspense- and I experience mind-numbing, horrific suspense opening doors in Turok 3, which, it turns out, don't even open)
- The ending
- The nonsensicalities

...anyways......there's just something about the movie. It's like...like...I don't know. I think I'm just a sucker for
- Female protagonists
- Special ops squads, especially ones that don't bring enough ammo
- Videogame-esque situations
- Monsters (except Aliens), Zombies
- Homicidal, maniacal computers, especially ones who ironically end up being cute little girls
- More zombies
