You've heard the rumors, the whispers, and the so-called factual secrets, but now you're hearing it straight from the horses mouth! Step on up, boys and girls! Don't be shy, or we'll seek you out and beat you! That's right, what's your name, child?!
Oh really?!?! I had a dog named that once! Yes I shot him! He got one good one in on me before he went though! Right through my pinkie toe! CHOMP! AHhahhah, anyways, let me tell you a tale of Gumbo!
...actually, there's not much to tell. So I will stop talking like a circus attraction
announcer now.
I commented and voted (like I said, I am now a Part!), and raised the overall rating from 4 to 5 stars. Somebody rated it a 1 and said it wasn't real Gumbo out of, most likely, anger and pent-up anger (more of it) towards Alton Brown and his flying machines. Consarned flying machines...
Out of respect for Alton Brown, wielder of the Culinary Triforce of Courage, I will post the link to the recipe in the stead of recreating it here. Here is the link!
hehe. Get it, link? Here is the link? Like, link, as in Link? From the Legend of Zelda? Yeah! Hey, would Alton's token nutritional anthropologist be his Zelda? Get it? She would be the wielder of the Triforce of Wisdom, right? Yeah. And Hand would be his Navi! Oh, my goodness, so much parodying, so little skill!
Song of the Day is Woohoo by (the) Newsboys. My Mom started a SOTD (Song of the Day) on her blog today. What she doesn't realize is that I started out slow on my SOTD's, too. Also, that I have the decency and courtesy, not to mention respect to my fellow human beings, to put the song of the day at or near the bottom, not randomly embedded in the middle of a post. That's a very shameful way of getting people to read your blog, and you should be ashamed of yourself, Mother. Feel the raw shame of being shamed on by your son. Shame on you. Shaahayhayhayhaame.
I'm off to eat some of the Gumbo. Have a good night. The Gumbo is really fantastic. I add like, one and a quarter pounds of sausage though. Non-paper, non-computer progress continues to be made on TA. Sometime soon I need to backup my hard drive...more on that laters.
