Yes, I am retiring one of my favorite cutting boards. It's a Kitchenaid. Me and my Granny got it oh, like a year ago. It's just too damaged. Got onions chopped on it and mustard smeared into the grooves left by serrated knives too much...now everything I cut on it smells like, well, rotting onions and mustard. Not as attractive of a scent as you might think. I wouldn't bottle it.
So now I must seek after a new medium-sized, about 11"x17.5" cutting board. The Kitchenaid 'bundle,' which comes with one large board and one medium, cost us $20. I'll ask my Mommy to keep her eyes open. I don't think we need a second large one...although it could be cut down to size.
I'll bury it sometime. Poor thing.
